Why is EMC here?
It all started back in 2005 when I dipped my toes into the world of direct sales. Those early days taught me the ropes of connecting with people and the importance of our core values, Integrity, Presence, Curiosity and Empathy. In 2010, I took a big leap into the energy sector, where I kicked off my journey in business development. That's where my passion for spotting opportunities and crafting growth strategies truly took root. It marked the beginning of my corporate adventure.
Between 2014 and 2023, I climbed the corporate ladder, beginning in Norway as the Head of Sales. From there, I embraced the challenge of international expansion and growth. Supported by a great team, I ventured into exciting markets like Dubai and Taiwan, learning the ropes of working with diverse cultures while striving for success. Another achievement was setting up a robust business development unit, bringing together talented individuals to work in between Marketing and Sales, creating a thriving environment.
I've been through the ups and downs of being a shareholder in an SME, from attracting new investments to navigating complex business landscapes, and ultimately making the strategic decision to exit a business. What fuels me throughout this journey is an unwavering passion for success. Whether it's winning and retaining business, nurturing exceptional teams, or spearheading international expansion, I'm all about the pursuit of excellence.
